Inclosure 2.

With reference to your Confidential despatch

of the 14th of August transmitting the interim report of the Wireless Sub-Committee of the Imperial Communications

Committee, I have the honour to confirm my telegram of the

27th of September a copy of which is enclosed for convenience

of reference,

2.

I enclose also a copy of a report by Mr. King. Electrical Engineer, Public Works Department, giving reasons why in his opinion it will be necessary to retain the

station at d'Aguilar even if Stonecutters is made available

for comercial work. The congestion at d'Aguilar is in

fact becoming so serious that if the Sub-Comittee's

proposals are not adopted in the near future it will be necessary for this Government to consider the erection at

an early date of another Government station in the Colony

in order to deal efficiently with the increasing volume of

traffic.

I have the honour to be,

Sir,

Your most obedient humble servant,

7.2. Hatt

Governor, &c.
